Bio
A native of Highland County, Amy brings with her a deep commitment to addressing the mental health needs of rural communities.
Good earned her Master’s in Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University in 2003, and has since gained extensive experience treating a variety of diagnoses across multiple settings. Her specialized skills include the treatment of addiction, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and emotion regulation. She holds certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Amy brings extensive knowledge and a strong commitment to her clients. She recognizes the significance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and works diligently to help her clients achieve that goal. Amy’s commitment to fostering mental wellness in our community will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves. Living in Highland County with her husband and four children, Amy enjoys reading, spending time by the river, and savoring the peace of country life.
