Bath Community Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Joseph L. Ott, known as “Dr. Joe,” a board-certified pediatrician with over a decade of experience in child health. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2008 and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Kosair Children’s Hospital/University of Louisville. Dr. Ott previously worked at Triad Pediatrics in North Carolina, focusing on asthma management and quality improvement in pediatric care. He also served as a Major/Staff Pediatrician at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington, where he contributed to a national asthma management study. Recognized for his commitment to diversity in medicine, he received the Diversity in Medicine Award during his residency. Dr. Ott speaks conversational Spanish, enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse patient population. He enjoys exploring the Highlands of Virginia with his wife, Jessica, and their eight children. Dr. Ott is currently accepting new patients.
