Dr. Nicole Williams is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with advanced fellowship training in point-of-care ultrasound. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Northwell Health’s North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she trained on the front lines during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Motivated by a passion for teaching, Dr. Williams pursued a fellowship in ultrasound at Georgetown University, where she gained advanced expertise in point-of-care applications, with a special focus on musculoskeletal ultrasound.
For the past three years, Dr. Williams has served as an attending physician at Howard University Hospital, a Level I trauma center in Washington, DC, recognized for its longstanding commitment to serving vulnerable populations. At Howard, she combines active clinical practice with teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
Dr. Williams earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds board certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Outside the emergency department, Dr. Williams is an avid traveler and cultural explorer. She finds joy in long walks, discovering hidden gems at local coffee shops, and cheering from the stands at sporting events. Above all, she values connection and community — in her practice, her travels, and her everyday life.
